Ride Information

The Tour de Fronds is one of the most beautiful cycling events in Oregon. The Tour is your choice of scenic rides on low-traffic roads in Southern Oregon’s beautiful Coast Range. From your saddle enjoy views of old-growth forests, wildflowers, waterfalls, rivers, streams, and mountain vistas.

The Tour is well-supported with many and varied snacks and beverages available at each Check-In area.  A large meal after the tour is included in your registration.

The Tour de Fronds transverses Oregon’s premier Glendale/Powers Bicycle Recreation Area, a project of USDA Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management.

Seven rides are available.  Asphalt rides include 30, 456377, and 117 mile long rides with different climbing and grade challenges (see tire recommendations).  Two rides are asphalt/gravel rides including a metric century to the Rogue River/Old Agness Store as well the 55-mile Big Tree/Flannagan Prairie ride.

Prevent Injury & Ride Your Best

One of the biggest training mistakes cyclists make is leaving recovery to chance.

Cycling demands a lot from our bodies, if we’re not keeping up with maintenance, then it will eventually break down.

The best way to prevent injury while riding is with targeted mobility and strength work.

Our friends at Dynamic Cyclist have created easy to follow routines, 15 - 20 minutes in length, that will keep you riding pain free all season long.
